Yair Netanyahu has been ordered by a court to pay NIS 70,000 in damages to former MK Stav Shaffir as part of a defamation lawsuit, Hebrew media reported on Thursday morning.
The former MK had filed the suit in 2021 and demanded that the court order Netanyahu to compensate her with NIS 143,603 for publishing defamation and another NIS 120,000 for sexual harassment.
