The United States will announce a new security assistance package for Ukraine later on Wednesday to help the Ukrainian military battle Russian forces, the White House said.
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters the weapons package, which Reuters previously reported would be about $300 million, will include more ammunition and other supplies.
