The IDF conducted searches and put up checkpoints to find the suspect who carried out an unsuccessful shooting attack at a car near the West Bank settlement of Evyatar on Monday evening, the IDF's Spokesperson's Unit said.
Two bullet marks were found on the car, in which a mother and her four children were driving at the time of the attack, Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan said.
The Tapuach and Migdalim junctions are blocked for traffic in both directions as part of the searches.
