Delegations of Gaza-based Palestinian terror groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad arrived in Cairo on Sunday afternoon for a meeting with Egyptian intelligence officers, Palestinian and Arab media reported.
Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and PIJ secretary-general Ziyad al-Nakhala both led their respective delegations to the Egyptian capital, sent to discuss the ongoing ceasefire efforts with Israel following Operation Shield and Arrow last month.
