Israel Police chief Kobi Shabtai instructed the spokesperson's unit of the police not to issue joint statements with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir until the end of his term in January 2024, Maariv reported on Tuesday.
The report comes amid reported tensions between Shabtai and Ben-Gvir, including a decision by Ben-Gvir not to extend Shabtai's term.
