A proposal to improve the salary of non-commissioned officers in the Israel Defense Force has been approved by the Israeli government, according to a Sunday statement from the Finance Ministry.
The change was proposed by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who marked the approval by saying, “This is a significant and innovative step that will allow the IDF [to meet] changing needs and [adapt to] rapid changes both on the battlefield and in the Israeli labor market.”
