Police on Tuesday morning received a call reporting a suspect who passed through the Shuafat checkpoint north of Jerusalem in possession of a knife.
Officers arrested the suspect after attempting to communicate verbally with him. According to the police report, the suspect did not heed their demands.
The young man ultimately was taken in for further questioning.
