Lebanese Defense Minister Maurice Sleem was targeted by an assassination attempt on Thursday when his car was targeted by gunfire in Jisr El Basha, south of Beirut, according to Lebanese reports.
The rear windshield of the vehicle was hit by bullets, Sleem told MTV Lebanon, stressing that he was not harmed.
