Four IDF soldiers were lightly to moderately injured after other IDF personnel who were carrying out a defense mission in the Shtula moshav shot at them.
The IDF said that the soldiers recognized an unknown vehicle that arrived quickly and tried to bypass the checkpoint placed in the area. In response, forces opened fire on them.
Four soldiers were injured; one moderately and the rest lightly.
The injured were evacuated for medical treatment and families of the victims were notified.
