Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the United States on Wednesday of sidestepping an established process of settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and of trying to take matters into its own hands without resolving the fundamental issues.
Describing the violence in Israel as terrible, Putin said the conflict could not be resolved without addressing issues such as the establishment of a Palestinian state.
