French ministry confirms some nationals taken hostage by Hamas on Oct. 7

Of the eight French nationals who are still missing since Hamas' Oct. 7 attacks in Israel, some have now been confirmed to have been taken hostage, France's foreign affairs ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Another French national who had been reported missing has now been confirmed dead, bringing the total of French victims of the Hamas attack to 40.
