High Court dismisses petition against Israel-Hamas hostage deal

The High Court of Justice on Wednesday dismissed a petition filed by the Almagor organization against the hostage release deal, arguing it has no place to weigh in on decisions of a clear political and diplomated nature.

The Almagor organization issued a response to the High Court's decision, saying that the " release of Nazi terrorists as a political move is a mockery of the victims of terrorism.

"We thought that after the High Court legalized the Gilad Schalit deal in 2011, the price of which was paid by Israel to more than 1,300 victims of the October 7 atrocities, the judges would repent and say they were wrong.

"Unfortunately, however, the High Court of Justice continues to give the terrorists and their families the right to stand in countless debates about their rights, while kicking out the victims of terrorism and the bereaved families from the court and effectively canceling their right to stand as victims of a crime.
