An elderly patient was killed in a fire at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot on Sunday night, according to Israel Fire and Rescue Services and the hospital.
The fire erupted in the Department of Internal Medicine D at Kaplan Medical Center. The hospital said the fire was quickly extinguished, but a patient was killed before the fire could be put out. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
