A 20-year-old man was moderately wounded after a violent incident in the Kiryat Menachem area of Jerusalem on early Sunday morning, according to Israeli media.
Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene and administered emergency medical treatment before taking him to Hadassah-University Medical Center.
During a police search, a patrol team noticed two people, 18 and 20-years-old, walking in a suspicious way. They pulled over and asked to search their belongings.
One of the suspects threw a knife to the side of the road which the police found. The police detained the two and were taken to the Moriah police station for questioning.
