Israel's government plans to shut down Gila Gamliel's Intelligence Ministry, Ynet reported on Wednesday. The minister is set to replace Ofir Akunis as the Innovation, Science, and Technology Minister.
According to the report, the government will approve the ministry's closure in a cabinet meeting on Sunday.
Akunis will be replaced before taking up the role of consul general in New York.
