Due to the security situation, Health Minister Uriel Busso and the ministry's CEO held discussions with the heads of the health establishments in northern Israel, including hospital directors and CEOs of health maintenance organizations.
It was agreed that the hospitals would arrange for patient evacuations in accordance with the developments while continuing to provide medical services to the community.
Hospitals would also prepare to meet the needs of and evacuate patients with special needs who have remained in their homes.
