IDF soldier severely wounded from UAV impact left surgery, in stable condition

An IDF soldier was severely wounded as a result of a UAV impact in northern Israel and taken to Ziv Medical Center near Safed, the IDF announced on Sunday.

The soldier was in serious condition but left the operation room after six hours of extensive surgeries. He was transferred to intensive care for observation and is now ventilated, sedated, and in a stable condition.

Following the sirens that sounded regarding rocket and missile launches in Ramot Naftali in northern Israel at 14:17, an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious aerial target that was later determined to be a false target.
