Israel's Energy Ministry approved the export of additional natural gas from the Leviathan reservoir, up to an additional total quantity of 118 BCM, Ratio Energies announced Wednesday.
Ratio Energies Partnerships received a principle permit, which could possibly be expanded to quantities of 145 BCM, depending on the Energy Ministry and meeting certain requirements. Ratio holds 15% of the Leviathan reservoir, which is the largest in Israel, and contains an estimated 608 BCM of gas.
This is the biggest export quantity authorized for Israel's gas fields to date, said the company.
