The fire that had broke out in a forest in the Sataf area, near Mevaseret Zion, has been put under control, Israeli media reported.
Eight teams and two firefighting planes were dispatched to the scene to contain the spread of the fire.
Hikers were evacuated from the area, and there have been no casualties.
