Egypt's Sisi, Syria's Assad speak about 'severity of the escalation taking place in the region'

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi spoke on the phone with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad about the "severity of the escalation taking place in the region," Egyptian media reported.

Egyptian television reported that Sisi and Assad "emphasized their complete rejection of the attempt to eliminate the Palestinian cause or displace the Palestinians."
