AG's office opposes Netanyahu's request to postpone criminal trials due to war

The Attorney General's office announced on Sunday that it opposed the request of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to postpone the defense in his trials until March 2025, as the request would freeze the criminal trial proceedings for eight months.

The prosecution, in their statement, noted that they believe that Netanyahu's testimony should begin at the latest immediately following the Jewish holidays, around November 2024.
