The IDF struck a school being used by Hamas as a command center to manufacture weaponry in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The compound was once known as the Hamama school and was used also as a hiding place for Hamas terrorists and to conduct attacks on Israeli soldiers.
"Numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians prior to the strike," the military said, by using precise munitions, surveillance and additional intelligence.
