Police received a report from medical officials about a man in his 30s who was severely wounded from the explosion of a car bomb in the village of Abu Sinan on Friday.
The man later succumbed to his wounds.
Police forces on the scene began searching for suspects alongside collecting findings as part of an investigation that has been opened.
The background to the incident is reportedly criminal.
