The IDF Aerial Defense array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target which had crossed from Lebanon into the western Galilee, the IDF announced on Saturday afternoon.
Sirens sounded in the area, as is protocol and there were no reported injuries.
The IDF announced on Saturday afternoon that at 01:22 A.M. it intercepted a suspicious aerial target in the lower Galilee, but after reviewing the incident, it was determined to have been falsely identified.
The sirens in the area were sounded due to the risk of falling shrapnel from the interception.
