German authorities have identified the armed Austrian individual who opened fire near the Israeli consulate in Munich on Thursday morning as 18-year-old Emrah Ibrahimovic from Salzburg, Austria.
He was shot and killed by German security forces, according to Friday media reports. Ibrahimovic was reportedly from a Muslim family.
