IDF spokesperson in Arabic Avichay Adraee warned residents of Beirut's southern suburbs to evacuate in a post on X/Twitter in the early hours of Thursday.

"You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the IDF will operate in the near future," the post read, further warning civilians to evacuate from the vicinity.
Shortly after the IDF announcement, the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen news outlet reported that a strike had occurred in a residential building in the Lebanese capital's southern suburbs.
