Rocket from Lebanon hits building in Majd al-Krum, 13 wounded

The two in critical condition are in their early 20s, according to the MDA, and were undergoing resuscitation efforts on their way to the hospital.

Some 13 people were wounded following a direct hit at a gym in the Muslim town of Majd al-Krum in northern Israel, N12 reported on Friday.

According to Magen David Adom, of the 13 wounded, two were in critical condition and another person was severely wounded, with several others suffering moderate wounds from shrapnel.

Following an IDF report according to which approximately 30 rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon towards Israel's north, noting that some of which were intercepted, however, hits were also detected, MDA reported that three people were wounded and were evacuated to The Galilee Medical Center.

More wounded

The two in critical condition are in their early 20s, according to the MDA, and were undergoing resuscitation efforts on their way to the hospital. 

Additionally, an approximately 80-year-old man was critically wounded and was also evacuated to the hospital. Moreover, according to Maariv  two more were moderately wounded from shrapnel, and another two experienced anxienty.

Following the attack, Foreign Minister Israel Katz posted on X, formerly Twitter, emphasizing that the rockets "again proves that Iran's proxies kill Jews, Christians, Muslim Arabs, Bedouins, Druze, and anyone different from them."

He concluded by stressing, "The world must stop Iran now - before it’s too late."

In addition, earlier on Friday, a direct hit was reported in Shomera, northern Israel, Israeli media reported.
