Communications Minister Karhi: High Court should be abolished, 'it thinks it's above the law'

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi called for the abolition of Israel's High Court on Sunday evening during an interview, Israeli media reported.

Karhi reportedly said in the interview that the High Court "believes it's above the law" and needs to "be abolished."

"A new judicial authority should be established with powers defined by the Knesset," he added.
