Bill to raise IDF soldiers' wages voted down

A bill that would have increased the salaries of IDF soldiers did not pass in the Knesset after 48 voted in favor and 53 voted against.

The bill set out to raise soldiers' salaries to at least half of the current minimum wage in Israel.
