An additional round of rocket sirens were sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel shortly after a ceasefire was announced by Hamas officials late Saturday night. This comes after a tense weekends with over 100 rockets shot at Israel from the Gaza Strip and reports of retaliatory IAF strikes. The cause of the sirens is under investigation.
