Color Red alert sounded in Eshkol Region for second time Tuesday morning

The "tzeva adom" (color red) air raid alert was sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council, pre-dawn Tuesday. The region, which borders on Gaza, had a previous red alert overnight as did other Gaza belt communities. The IDF announced it was investigating the incident.
Enemy targets were hit by the air force after an overnight rocket barrage from the Hamas-run enclave. The escalation started Monday when a rocket destroyed a home in the city of Kfar Saba, injuring seven people. Last week a rocket aimed at Tel Aviv was shot down by the Iron Dome defense system.
