Four are indicted for Haifa bank robbery

The Haifa District Attorney filed indictments in the Haifa District Court on Thursday, charging four men in connection with a bank robbery that took place in the city in February.
Udi Amar, aged 21; Nissan Dadon, aged 20; Tomer Nachmani, aged 34; and 47-year-old Michael Dahan are charged with counts of aggravated robbery, carrying a weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and theft.
According to the indictment, on the morning of February 16, Amar and Dadon robbed the First International Bank on Haifa's Haoren Street.
Wearing masks, the two defendants ordered bank clerks at gunpoint to hand over cash.
As one bank official tried to resist, Amar allegedly fired two shots close to where the official stood.
Dadon then jumped over the bank counter, and took about NIS 51,800 from the bank's cash stores, the indictment said.
Allegedly, Dadon and Amar then left the bank, where Nachmani and Dahan were waiting in two getaway cars.
