Gantz deploys Home Front command to aid in Meron logistics

Defense Minister Benny Gantz commanded on Friday the deployment of the IDF's Home Front Command to reinforce and aid units already operating in coordination with local authorities.

Midday, Gantz held a sit-rep with Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi and relevant military officers.

It was decided that security services will aid in the logistics of evacuation, transportation, and funerals.

Gantz offered help to the police, in any capacity that they required.
