The IDF on Tuesday ordered that soldiers who serve in closed units must arrive back when returning from leave with enough personal equipment for a stay of at least a month.
This comes as part of preparations for a potential and expected tightening of the nationwide lockdown, which has to be decided by the government.
In addition, the IDF also updated that 15,620 soldiers and IDF civilian employees had received the first dose of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine.
