Large police presence at Betar, Sakhnin match

Upwards of 700 police and security personnel were ready on Sunday to secure the soccer game at Jerusalem's Teddy Stadium between Betar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin, Army Radio reported. The extreme measures are being taken following Betar’s recent struggle against a racist group of its fans, numbering several hundreds, who have been protesting against the signings of Chechen Muslims Dzhabrail Kadiyev and Zaur Sadayev.
On Friday, a fire caused heavy damages to Betar management offices in what according to police was an arson attack by those opposed to the team’s decision to sign two Muslim players.
