Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered his congratulations on Tuesday to his close friend, New England Patriots football team owner Robert Kraft, whose team won the Superbowl on Sunday in a memorable comeback victory. 'Congrats to the New England @Patriots, Tom Brady and my friend Bob Kraft,' Netanyahu wrote. 'From the comeback nation to the comeback team: Amazing game! Netanyahu has been close for many yers with Kraft, a Jewish philantrhopist who supports many caues in Israel including Friends of the IDF, the Israel Democracy Institute and American Football in Israel. He built a field named after him in Jerusalem's Sacher Park and is sposnering the construction of a new athletic facility in the city's Ramot neighborhood.
