Netanyahu to convene cabinet in order to pass measures against stone-throwing attacks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was set to convene the cabinet on Thursday in order to approve his plan to battle stone-throwing and Molotov cocktail attacks.The plan consists of three main steps: changing the live-fire rules of engagement, instituting minimum punishments for Molotov cocktail and stone-throwers and fining the parents of minors caught throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying that he is "determined to pass his plan in the cabinet, and afterward to quickly legislate it."
