Israeli Olympic runner Selamawit Teferi placed 23rd in the 10,000-meter dash final event in Tokyo on Sunday with a time of 32:46:46.
Teferi, who set a new Israeli record in the 5,000-meter dash when she stopped the clocks in the qualifying round in Tokyo at 14:53.43 minutes, finished tenth in the finals for that event.
