Mahmoud Salam, aged 22, was shot dead in his car on Monday in Nazareth, with another man seriously injured, Ynet reported.
Medical teams determined Salam's death on the spot. The young man who was with him was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital.
Salam's relatives said tonight, "What did a young man do to be killed? Criminals have no boundaries and no mercy, and they continue to murder endlessly."
Police arrived at the scene and concluded that the background to the shooting was a dispute between criminals, according to KAN.
About a month and a half ago, Salam's friend, 19-year-old Khaled Nahash, was also shot dead in the city.
According to Ynet, 76 people have been murdered in Arab-Israeli society since the beginning of 2021.
Israel has been criticized for failing to address the rise of violent crime rates among Arab-Israelis. One notable example is the recent death of senior Education Ministry official Sahar Ismael, who was killed last week.
