Palestinian indicted for September attempt to stab officers in Jerusalem

A 20-year-old Palestinian man was indicted Thursday morning in a Jerusalem court for attempting to stab to death two Israeli officers in September near the Old City's Damascus Gate.According to the indictment, filed in the Jerusalem District Court, Ayman Kurd carried out the attempted stabbing following the death of his cousin during a firefight in the West Bank city of Hebron.The prosecution has requested that he remain in custody until the end of the legal process surrounding his case.
