Peres: Hi-tech experience would be beneficial for students

President Shimon Peres suggested that schools allow tenth grade students and above to work in the high-tech industry two hours a day, Israel Radio reported Wednesday.
The president spoke on the subject at his residence upon receiving the National Council for the Child's annual statistics.
The president opined that students would learn just as well in high-tech companies at they do in class, and would do it willingly.
Peres also called for teachers to give students more generous marks in order to encourage them.
