Police, elite 669 search and rescue unit respond to unconscious hiker

Police, volunteers and Israel's National Parks Authority rescuers responded to the call and and an Israel Air Force helicopter with a team of 669 search and rescue specialists were dispatched to the scene.

A doctor was forced to declare the man dead at the scene later Saturday.
