Police opened 23 investigations into people who spread false information about the novel coronavirus, what is known as fake news, Maariv reported on Tuesday.
54 businesses were issued closing warrants after they were found to violate the People’s Health Order meant to curb the spread of COVID-19. 135 investigations are currently conducted against people who violated quarantine orders.
