President Reuven Rivlin took to social media on Tuesday to say his heart goes out “to the families who face the loss of their loved ones in the terrible plague,” meaning coronavirus, “and asked to bid them farewell in a distant terrible way.”
The president was referring to the fact those who bury their loved ones cannot touch the body for fear of spreading the virus further.
