SYDNEY - Several people were injured after a car hit pedestrians in the center of Australia's second largest city Melbourne on Friday, emergency services said.Ambulance Victoria said several people had been struck, while local television screened live aerial video showing police cars and police carrying weapons at a central city junction."The exact circumstances of the events are still being determined," police said in a statement posted on their official twitter account.
