Shef's indictment officially changed to include 'rape'

Yarin Sherf, who allegedly tried to rape a 13-year-old girl twice when they were in isolation at the same coronavirus hotel in March, was originally indicted for forbidden sexual relations.

Israeli media announced on Sunday that the language in his charges has officially been changed to include the word "rape."

In late March, the State Attorney announced the decision to change the language.

The indictment also included charges of sexual harassment.
