Syrian protesters set fire to key buildings in Deraa

DAMASCUS - Protesters demanding freedoms and an end to corruption set fire to the headquarters of the ruling Baath Party in the Syrian southern city of Deraa on Sunday, residents said.
The demonstrators, reinforced by protesters from nearby villages, also set fire to the Palace of Justice and two cellphone company branches. One of the companies, Syriatel, is owned by President Bashar al-Assad's cousin Rami Makhlouf.
