Weaning process of Peres from respirator ‘advances’

The condition of former president Shimon Peres remained serious but stable on Wednesday morning a week eight days after his massive hemorrhagic stroke, and the “process of weaning him from his respirator has advanced,” according to his office.The 93-year-old Peres underwent another computerized tomography (CT) scan.
