Here are the best deals and snags at Israeli stores this Passover

Passover is coming, and many appliance chains are taking advantage of the holiday to offer sales promotions and significant discounts.

Passover is coming, and many appliance chains are taking advantage of the holiday to offer sales promotions and significant discounts.

Promotions are being offered against the backdrop of a 30% decrease in sales compared to the same period last year.

Leading chains like OIG, an electrical appliance wholesaler, and Newpan take advantage of Passover to offer a variety of promotions that include discounts or giving free items when buying electrical products.

Best deals this Passover season:

The first to come out with a special sale is Mahsanei Hashmal, followed immediately by the ALM chain, which launched a comprehensive marketing campaign.

The Newpan chain offers to buy a 4-door Haier refrigerator three gifts from KitchenAid: A stick blender, toaster and kettle worth NIS 1,500.

When buying Delonghi ovens, you receive a gold note worth NIS 1,000. Newpan also offers additional promotions on stove tops, food processors and irons.

Moran Dai, VP of Marketing for Newpan, stated that before Passover there's a 25-30% increase in sales of electrical products. She predicts that for this Passover, consumers will strive to get great value for money, so Newpan decided to launch promotions with the leading brands.

OIG, which imports and markets small electrical products for the kitchen including international brands DAVO and NOVO is offering customers a free meat grinder or an 8-liter bowl when buying the DAVOPRO mixer Model 5740.

The company is also giving a digital kitchen scale with the purchase of food processor NOVO Model 410.

Also, OIG offers a special Pesach package that includes a NOVO popcorn maker, a Magic Bolt blender, a DAVO coffee and spice grinder and a NOVO blintz pan for NIS 699.
