Initial reports identified the victim as a rabbi, who was attacked while walking under a railway bridge near the second largest Belgian city's Jewish quarter when a passerby attacked him with a knife. In May, a gunman opened fired in the Jewish museum in Belgium, killing four people including two Israelis.
